Nǐ hǎo, I'm Marina 👋
I am a professional full-time Mandarin Chinese teacher originally from northern China — the birthplace of standard Mandarin. I founded Marina Chinese and have been teaching for over 15 years, first in China and then in Europe.
When I came to the Netherlands, I continued teaching full time — at university, online, and in person. I teach children and teenagers with a playful, structured approach that builds real confidence and genuine enthusiasm for the language.
I believe Chinese is best learned through a combination of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. My lessons are interactive and dynamic, and every child receives a PDF after each class to support their progress at home.

Tina is a warm and dedicated teacher who specialises in lessons for younger children. She has a gift for making children feel at ease from the very first lesson. Through songs, games, and storytelling, Tina turns every class into an adventure that children look forward to.
